I've had my customized MacBook Pro for about 5 years now and has always survived **** I've put it through. I may have put the final nail in the coffin though.

About a month ago I knocked a drink off my bedside table (in my sleep) onto my open macbook on the floor that was plugged into the wall. It was on for about 6 hours until I woke up and realized, the screen was flickering.

I opened it up and tried to do some repairs.. Can't really tell if anything has been fried, but I did accidentally bend that slot the MagSafe charger plugs into the logic board, so now when I plug my charger in, nothing happens. I've removed any corrosion on the logic board with alcohol.

Looking to repair this thing myself, or at least get some kind of assessment of how much it may end up costing me, then I can decide if I should just buy a new one. Pretty sure the logic board needs replacing, but so many other things could be wrong as well.

If anyone has any ideas or websites/resources/tutorials I can check out to try and fix this thing myself would be greatly appreciated. I can include pics or vids If I need to. Or you can just tell me to give up and that it's hopeless.

Really appreciate your time. Thank you

- Chris
