Dear Peoples of MacRumors,

I was looking for a cheap, pixel perfect 2560 x 1440 monitor, perhaps of Korean manufacture. I am looking to spend $400 maximum (including the minidisplay to dvi-D adapter).

My Macbook Pro is the 2010 model, which has a discrete GT-330M graphics card.

If anyone can suggest a monitor that works 100% with my setup, that would be great.

Thanks for any help you can give me,
Kartik (the nooblet).

I got a Korean monitor last month from eBay. The model was Crossover 27q LED-P

It was £270 delivered. Then it was £70 for the mini display port to Dual DVI cable. Remember you need the dual DVI adapter to get the full resolution.

The good thing about the model I got compared to some of the other Korean monitors is that it come in a metal housing which gives it a quality feel. The P in the model number means the screen rotates to portrait which can be handy if you do any design like me
