Hi all, first post on here so be nice haha...

Just purchased myself my first Mac, won't be delivered until 12th as I customised a few options (VERY EXCITED)
However I had one question about using the "Thunderbolt" port to connect to my 24" LG monitor (capable of displaying in 1080p)

I just purchased http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002ERBFYM/ref=oss_product
to connect the two.

But my question is? how will the screen quality turn out based on any of your experience, I don't really want a grainy/low resolution display?

Thanks in advance guys

It should look great. I don't have experience with the Mini-DP to HDMI connector specifically, but my 2010 MBP runs an external 24" on DVI just fine.
