Hey Everybody

Im only writing here to ask what would be a reasonable price to ask for a 2011 Macbook Pro, 2.2 ghz Quad, 6750M, 8GB (self upgraded), 750 GB, Hi-res, Antiglare?

I bought it in March, and I'm asking because I am planning to 'downgrade' to a smaller Macbook Pro, and then spending the saved cash towards a PC for gaming.

And would it even be 'worth' downgrading to open up the extra cash for a PC?

Not taking bids in here :) Just need advice on how much it might have fallen in price since the buy.

Thanks!

you compete with Apples refurb store and with students who bought it at a 15% discount and sell it now. My guess is $1600 + shipping. I would not pay more for it.

The games your trying to play, are they not available on a mac?

I haven't tried anything recently but my 2010 i7 MacBookPro played SC2 (StarCraft2) just fine.

1700 seems about right the I've seen the 15" without the high res screen but same specs go for about 1500-1600.

You'll get a little more on eBay of course but the fees... Oh god the fees...

For 700 dollars you can make a win7 box that can get double the performance in gaming.
