Hello.

My friend and I have a Macbook Pro.
He has the 2011 model and I have the 2010.
I just noticed that hes screen were much more yellow and low in brightness at the same level.

You can see it in this video at the boot test http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWUWzWRYRfk&feature=related (not mine)

Try and check with your friends.
Does your look the same?
If its meant to be like that, im happy that a keepd the 2010 model.

You'll either 1) get used to it, or 2) it goes away...

When I first got mine, it did look yellow compared to my late 2008... but the old mbp's gone now, and I honestly can't tell if it's still yellow, or if it's gone away, or if it's just that I've gotten used to it.

The Yellow is there

The yellow screen is happening with my new 2.3Ghz 15" HR AG model. What I did was bring it to the Genius Bar and he acknowledged the issue. What he did was he gave me a gift card to re order online what I wanted. So I ordered the same thing and no issues detected.

Point is, if you don't like the yellow tint on your MBP, bring it to Apple, they will take good care of it.
