Nobody's got any real knowledge on when it'll be announced; let alone when it'll actually be out, or exactly what it'll be, or how much it'll cost.
From what I've read it'll not be able to do anything that the current generation can't already do (although it might be able to do it a bit faster), then again, since it doesn't exist yet the current gen beats it hands down in any performance test you can think of!

nope thats pretty much what i heard as well.
usually the various apple stores go offline for an hour or so and then the updated models will show.
usually store goes offline here in the UK either late afternoon or early evening - to fit in with the west coast of the US probably
Well, I'm thinking February, keeping in tune with the 10 month product cycles (June '09, April '10, February '11)
I will guess as that is all anyone can do ... April 2011

Ah. Well Apple does seem to be very far-between with product releases. For example, the MBA came out, then a while later the Beatles debuted on iTunes. If the iPad 2 comes out this month, then it'll be a while before we see any new big products.
