I have a Macbook Pro 2011 13in (I know, its old) which is currently running Mojave. Prior to that it was running High Sierra. Since High Sierra, I've noticed problems with my wifi card. It would randomly "turn off" and disconnect. I would have not internet access. If I go to the menu bar, it doesn't show any networks available and if I go to network preferences it shows that my wifi is off. Pressing turn on doesn't do anything. I have to either put the macbook in sleep mode by closing the lid or restart it. Doing either one will turn it back on itself or allow me to turn it back on via the menu bar/network preferences.
I've tried replacing the airport card which might have stopped the problems for a while, but it has now resumed. I have the upgraded card which supports BT 4.0 if that matters. I have not tried to do a fresh install of Mojave or High Sierra since I haven't had time. Hoping someone might have any idea what might be going on. Thanks!
