Hello, i'm having a terrible issue with my MacBook Pro from 2013.
When i hit the sleep button, after about a minute, the laptop wakes up right back again.
It only goes to sleep naturally after a certain time by itself, but that's not convenient, as i prefer to able to make it go to sleep manually when i'm done working.

First of all, specs:

I already did an SMC reset.

The only process running that could be waking the laptop is hidd.
Other than that, i don't see any other process that is allowed to wake it.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Have you tried giving it NyQuil or sleeping pills??? Lol, sorry couldn’t help myself.

On a serious note, do you have any peripherals (i.e usb devices, external hard drives or displays) plugged into the laptop? Or any Bluetooth mice, keyboards or headphones connecting via bluetooth? Any of these could be waking your computer after you put it to sleep.
