My guess is another 2-3 years of the current retina design (while slowly fading out the old chassis within the upcoming months) with an annual spec bump as new technology is introduced. Maybe two spec bumps in one year. Besides that, I doubt anything significant is going to come hardware wise.

We could see like late 2008-early 2009. New 15" first, new 13" and 17" later on.
