Have a MacBook Pro 15” 2014 version. Warranty ran out after 3 years & of course Apple wouldn’t renew it, which sucks. Apple just wants you to buy, buy, buy, but my system works great & don’t need any USB-C extensions like for the 2017 MacBook Pro’s. Don’t want my laptop to look like it’s on “life support” if you know what I mean ha ha.

Anyway, my desktop somehow is all in the iCloud, so how do I undo it so it’s on my actual desktop with a copy in iCloud?

My noisy fan turns on when I turn on my MacBook Pro, how do I stop the fan from running unless the system gets hot & really requires the fan to run? That’s the question of the century. Btw, I close out my “recent” websites I opened plus delete the history. Is it a CPU issue? Would appreciate a feedback to resolve the above issues. Thanks !

Blowing the dust out of the case will make a big difference on your fans. I have the same thing in the 2013 model and it seriously cut back on the fans running.
