Hi guys,

I wanted to know If dual 4k monitoes work at 60 hz with Macbook Pro 2015. One with IG not DG.

I found a thread that it supports on everymac but it does not confirm 60hz or 30hz.

Also wanted to know how is the performance ? I currently have a 2014 13" Pro with 8GB Ram , I am planning to upgrade to 15" Pro 2015, otherwise I may have to get 1440p monitors or Pro 2016/2017

Thanks

I have a 2015 MacBook Pro 15 with AMD graphics and dual-4k does work but I don't recall at which frequency. My monitors are hooked up to a desktop with a GTX 1050 ti which is a much better card than the one in the 2015 MacBook pro and it can only run 3x4k at 30 hz.

I just looked at the specs and the HDMI port only supports 30 hz. So I'd say that it's possible that 60 hz is supported but you'd have to use both Thunderbolt 2 (MiniDisplayPort) ports. Performance was okay for trading.

I've tried dual-QHD displays on a 2014 MacBook Pro with Integrated Graphics (which is the same as the 2015) and I had artifacts doing certain other operations. It seems that 2x4k or 3x4k support is iffy on a lot of graphics cards and the specs don't always tell you exactly what is supported or what works well.
