Macbook Pro 2015 (15") freezes after tiny shakings or collisions

I am using this MBP 2015 (15") 256 since end of 2016 in a normal way. Since Middle of 2018 I am using it excessively (means: Work of 12-14 hours EVERY day laptop is ALWAYS in sleep mode, when not being used - retarting it every 1-2 days.)

Before Middle of 2021 I had really SMALL freezings (like 1-2 seconds), when I was using my MBP in the train, bus on my lap etc. BUT i never had to restart it and could work normally after 1-2 seconds of freezing (didnt think mucha about it). This freezing never happens, when I connect my mac to my thunderbolt and use it basically like a desktop pc with an externaml monitor.

However now: everytime when i use my laptop on my lap or in public transportation it freezes , as soon as I collide it with my arm rest or when i shake it a little, when I need to change my sitting position etc. Than I have a total freezing and need to restart. After restarting all works fine. Howver this is bothering me, since I never had this with any of my macs in the last 10 years.

Its an 256 GB ssd, which never has been replaced. Could it be maybe my SSD, not sitting securely or generally being just too old? Any recommendations or experiences would be appreciated since I want tot use this machine for some more years.

Have you checked the battery it could be swelling and pushing against other components

I have a rMBP 2015 that had similar problems and finally quit altogether and discovered the battery was very swollen and pushing against the case and the motherboard

Luckily when I replaced the old battery with a new one everything went back to normal

here is a link to my post about the battery on this thread
