My mom spilled water on the keyboard of her 2015 MBP. It turned off by itself. For several days, she's had in a bag with rice and desiccant packets. I would like to send the machine off for repair. Since it may take a while to be repaired, I would like to remove the hard drive and make a copy so she can use another machine in the meantime.

While I have a set of small tori screw drivers, none seem to fit the ones on the back her of 2015 mbp, so that's where my questions start.

-What screwdriver(s) would I need to remove the back casing of a 2015 mbp.
-The hard drive, as I recall, is not your traditional size hdd/ssd but one of those narrow ssd. If I wanted to connect it to another machine, what sort of cable/enclosure would I need?

Thanks for your help.

you can use OWC Envoy Pro enclosure.

P5 screws and an OWC enclosure for the SSD but its gonna play up if filevault is on

Thanks for everyone's help. I ordered the necessary parts and will poke at it this week, hopefully.

98% certain FileVault would still be off.

Thanks again for the fantastic advice.
