Hi All,

I'm here because I need your help. I had the bad idea today to change the thermal paste of my 2016 Macbook pro. Since then everything is working fine and great except TouchID.

Since I have teared down the Mac, TouchID does not work anymore. I mean when I trying to login using TouchID is it like it does not detect my finger on the sensor.

If I try to setup a new finger print it does not detect my finger but when I press the power button this is detected.

I have tried to check the connector but everything looks like, I have try the Apple Hardware Check (press D when starting) and everything is fine.

Do you have any idea if I have broken my sensor somehow ? Or if I'm missing something here ?

Thanks !
