i having this problem with wifi. if the MacBook pro is connected to an external monitor with the top down my internet speed are slower them when the top up. top down will be 100/50 top up will be 149/130, Does anybody had this problem before, Thanks in advance.

I understand that the wi-fi antenna is located inside the Macbook but I think the card itself is in the keyboard area but the antennae run up the sides of the display frame and having the antennae parallel to the keyboard, as opposed to perpendicular, may cause a drop in connection speed.

Is your wifi using 2.4GHz or 5GHz? USB-3 interferes with 2.4GHz wifi. USB-C, I'm not sure, but it might.

If you haven't already, I would force your network to the 5GHz option, if you have it, and see if that makes a difference.
