Hi all

I was use MacBook Pro 2017 with i5 dual core and 8 GB ram.

When I doing dodge and burn or other activity using brush in latest Lightroom CC Classic the processor's temperature would rises to around 80 c and fan kicking.

Does it normal ? Is it also happend to other MacBook Pro with quad core i5 and i7 ?

Thank

Yeah it's pretty normal. Lightroom is built on an old platform that is not optimized for modern hardware. They keep tacking on new features, but it's heavy on the system. On both 5k iMacs I've had, it struggles a lot, because of the resolution.

Meanwhile the one for iOS blazes along.
