I picked up a 15” version of the MacBook Pro 2017 from a local seller who’d spilt orange juice on it about 4 months ago!

I intend taking it apart to see if something can be done, otherwise I’ll part out to recoup the £300 I spent buying it.

I know the 2017 keyboard is a pain to clean, and some of the upper keys feel sticky. Is there any way of realistically cleaning the keyboard with IPA before I attempt picking keys off carefully?

Also, I did find someone on eBay who claims to repair the logic boards or not charge if they can’t. Worth trying?

In the meantime I’ve been checking out a lot of online video tutorials on fixing the boards.
