I bought a 2017 MB Pro with 2 TB ports ( I believe it's a 2.3 i5) with a 128Gb SSD. I was replacing the SSD with a 256 Gb and did not power down the MB but instead just closed the lid and put it to sleep. When I installed the new 256 SSD I opened the MB and nothing. Black screen, tried all the tricks to wake it up, reset the SMT, blah, blah, blah. Apple "repaired" it by replacing the logic board and a new 128 SSD but now the same thing is happening. It worked fine the day I picked it up. That night I powered it down instead of putting it to sleep. Next morning it powered up just fine. I then closed the case to put it to sleep and again, would not power back up when I tried to wake it up. Ridiculousness, especially after an $1800 purchase. Any suggestions?
