Macbook Pro 2018 keyboard

Back in 2016 I returned my MacBook Pro due to repeating keys. I'm taking a chance with a new 2018 MackBook pro and so far (been using notebook for about 3 weeks) I haven't had any issues. I know there are a few threads discussing that the same keyboard issues persist with the latest model. Is it really as bad as the 2016/2017 models? I'm considering returning mine and trying again next year. I still have my 2015 model that I could use if necessary.

I think it's a tiny percentage affected by issues. Everyone I know who has a new 2018 MBP couldn't be happier including myself, the only complaints I hear are fear of damaging it and if they should get AppleCare. I say use anything until you experience issues yourself.

I’ve had it since around a week after launch, no issues. And I’m confident if it ever did have issues they’d make it right

In my opinion, it's not bad luck to have 4 bad keyboards. Perhaps someone is doing something to get those issues.

We have had no issues with our 2018 keyboards. I didn't have any issues with the 2017 keyboards either. Its a lottery for sure...

You would have to ask @navaira, but no, I don’t believe so. @navaira, hasn’t been the only one to make similar claims of multiple failures, just the one that first came to my mind.
