MacBook Pro 2018, Time Machine thinks drive is encrypted

I installed Mojave on both of my MacBook Pro's. One's a 2015 and the other one is from 2018. Turned on Time Machine on the 2015 and it just started backing up my drive. The 2018 tells me its drive is encrypted and it's backing up to an unencrypted drive, despite FileVault being turned off. Anybody got any idea what's up with that?

It most likely gives that warning because the content of the SSD is always encrypted with 2018 MBPs, just not always via the user password. The T2 chip encrypts the SSD regardless of FileVault.
