I've had this MacBook since December and everything has worked fine up until a few days ago. Recently I have had it plugged into a 4k monitor, and the other day when I unplugged the laptop from the monitor, and opened Netflix on Safari, the picture has been lagging and the Touch Bar isn't allowing me to scrub through video. I have also noticed the battery has been decreasing faster than normal, and the laptop is getting warmer than usual.
Has this got anything to do with my recent usage of the external monitor? I've tried resetting the SMC but I have noticed the problems still persisting. I'm really worried that some sort of damage has been done to this MacBook which I dearly love
