Macbook pro 2019 low SSD speed?

Hi I've just bought a macbook pro 2019 with 128 gb ssd. I'm saddened to see such a low SSD speed? Is this normal or do I have a defective unit?

The smaller the SSD the lower its speed so this might be normal for the 128GB SSD. Benchmarks aside, any SSD will "feel" super fast compared to HDDs and you probably won't feel the difference if I gave you a machine which has double the speed of those synthetic benchmarks. Maybe doing large database or perhaps shaving off a few seconds from a video render but other than that you won't feel the difference in your day to day use.
