Hello all,

Recently I was running out of space on my 1TB SSD drive.

To save space, I optimised my storage but this deleted files that I still wanted. I wanted to recover the data and it's still there because I used easyus recovery but this seems quite expense to buy the licence.

Is there an alternative to recover the data from the SSD?

Thanks

I'm wondering if the data recovery app can even "get at" those files on a modern MacBook that's protected by a t2 chip with an SSD.

Paying the registration may be "the only way".
Ask yourself:
Do you really want to pay to "get that stuff back"?

And even if you pay, there's a chance that the files may not be "recoverable" (even if the app claims they are)...

Hi Fishrrman,

Thank you for your advice. I ended up having to pay the subscription and ended up buying the lifetime licence. I've now managed to the files back that I wanted.
