Macbook pro 2020 i7 vs i5

Hi
I am planning on buying a custom built Macbook pro and I have decided on the ram and that will be 32gb of ram
I would like this Macbook to last a long time and i don't need to always upgrade by buying a new laptop

I am wonder if the core i7 is worth it over the core i5?

Does the i7 make the fans run more often then the i5 ?

How about battery life

I will be doing web word youtube and sometimes Vmware and I do a lot of multiple tasking as well

I5 is enough, they get hot as it is no need to put insult to injury
