I spilt some coke and some of it got on my MacBook pro 2020. It was closed and it was standing on its side so it just rolled off. To be on the safe side I forced it to shut down and physically disconnected the battery and left it to dry for a day but I couldn't see any liquid either inside the clamshell or inside the machine itself. However when I now try and turn it on having reconnected the battery it's powering on and the touchpad clicks but nothing shows on screen and after 30-60 seconds it stops being clickable as if it's rebooted before becoming active again so just continues in this loop. It's also giving off sound, a bit like a fan with high pitch from somewhere around the headphone a d thunderbolt ports or the touch id area. I can't tell which.

Does anyone have any ideas of the issue and how to fix or is it dead?
