Does anyone use the macbook pro with any heavy 3d program, such as maya or 3d studiomax (on bootcamp)??

How does the machine handles these programs??

Is the macbook pro with 128mb of video ram enough or should i buy the 256mb one??

Thank you all!

I got the UB version of Cinema4D and the only thing i'll tell you is that i won't be using my G5 for 3D anymore! My 1.83 MBP with 1GB RAM renders up to 2 times as fast as my Dual 2GHz G5 with 3.5 GB RAM, believe it or not!
It seems am experiencing the strong points of the x86 architecture over PPC and am its really exciting.

I don't use Windows or any Windows software so i can't help you with you original question.
