Macbook pro 4 hours batterylife?

im just wondering if this is reaosnable, i only get about 4 hours of battery life when using my 15" 2.66 4gb ram. My settings: screen 1 bar, keyboard light 1 bar, bluetooth off wifi on (wireless n 5ghz), web browing and itunes running also have a cooling pad with 2 fans hooked up to the laptops usb and time machine is also doing hourly back ups wirelessly.

is 4 hours reasonable with these settings?

Is this a new MBP with the embedded battery? It does not sound unreasonable if you have several apps, a cooling pad powered by the machine, and CPU-intensive backups running every hour.

i wil calibrate the battery just to be on the safe side
