I own a Macbook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo, 8G RAM, OS 10.6.8.

At the end of last year I replaced the battery, which had swollen, and upgraded the RAM to 8G. I got the RAM from OWC. You can see the old thread here:

I hadn't had a hard freeze since the end of last year until two days ago. The it started again. Had two in a row. Then it froze twice yesterday and has frozen three times this morning. I'm not sure how to diagnose what's going on. I almost feel like just getting another MBP and kicking this one to the curb. Any help or suggestions for diagnosing this would be great.
