So have a 5.5 macbook pro and i want to sell it. it has a 2.26 Ghz CPU, 320GB HD and a single 4gb stick of ram.. how much should i ask for it? in something like craiglist.. it has no scrash

i would say around $400-$450, maybe even less, depending on the condition. anything more would just tempt someone to get a refurb over that which will offer a better processor and 4gb of ram as opposed to one with a better gpu.

umm but the cheapest refurb is $900 would i get around $600??

it's hard to say, i mean, i was just naming a price that i think an average person would pay. if it's someone that has no idea what they are buying, then yeah, you could possibly get $600 out of it. what gpu does the 5,5 have? i mean, i doubt anyone wil pay over $450 or so for a 2.26ghz/1gb ram/320gb hdd, they would most likely be buying it with the intentions of upgrading at least the ram. the gpu could play a big part in the price though.

Check completed listings on eBay and run a google search on similar MBPs at site: craigslist.org for a sense of what these have sold for.
