Hey guys, I was going to post this on apple.com support, but having a nightmare logging in!

I'm not too sure if I have a problem, of it's normal.

I have a MacBook Pro, mid-2010 model, got it at release so it's 2 years old in a week or two.

My battery no longer seems to hold it's charge. It literally lasts about 2.5 hours max, running basic programs such as textmate, Safari, etc.

The battery stats are: 497 cycles, capacity 83%. However, over the last few weeks I've been keeping an eye on it and it's dropped to 78% on two occasions.

I get it's past it's initial warranty. But the battery is designed to last 1000 cycles or 5 years before reaching 80% according to Apples own site... so do I take it to the Apple store or am I worrying about nothing?

Thanks for any help/guidance in advance.

:)
