Macbook pro 6 weeks old?

Coconut battery is telling me that my new i7 macbook 15' was assembled 6 weeks ago... soooooooo, it looks like we have some confirmation that it was indeed the ipad that made us wait so long.... not chip constraints.

All notebooks will show an age that predates the announcement date. Think about it. And yes, I firmly believe that Apple released the iPad first so that there were high sales. People who longed for a new laptop may have also bought the iPad. Then they put out a laptop and people still buy because the iPad is a toy whereas many people need the computer. If it were reversed people would not buy a laptop then an iPad (at least not the number of people that bought to date) as the iPad, once more, is more of a toy than something people can be really productive on. Apple isn't stupid, they're just a bunch of *******s.
