Hi,

There is an interesting fact that the Caps Lock button does not turn on, does not turn on when the green led is pressed, and does not function in what it should. I checked the keyboard settings and the function is assigned. Every other button on the keyboard works, so I'm weird. Do I have a spell for this or do I need to replace the entire keyboard? Thank you in advance for your answers.

I used to have a PowerBook G4 17" where at random times certain keys would stop working. Disconnecting the keyboard/trackpad ribbon cable from the LB and giving it a quick cleaning with a microfiber cloth always restored it. Might be worth a shot for you, although you'll actually need to open the top case I think.

That said, it's possible that this particular key has failed. Underneath the keys and the switches is an actual flexible circuit board and those can fail.

Thanks for the tip, I'll see.
