so my laptop (2.5 ghz one) has a 1680x1050 display...
i know these laptops also had a 1920x1200 option.. (or 1920x1080)
anyone have any info on how i can upgrade it to the higher res one? wich screen ect..
i was running a vm last night and forced that resolution to 1920x1200 and it looked sweet and not even blurry
but when i tried in the host os using switchres it overscans so yeah :(
btw its a macbook pro early 2008 17 inch one
runs absolutely sweet still tbh

I have one of these with the 1920x1200 but the display or backlight died so it sits on my table unused. I think that you'd be better off overall just getting an external 1920x1200 monitor than trying to change displays. Or you could try to buy one with 1920x1200.
