Ok i have this laptop that i got and it had no video at first out of the led screen but from the thunderbolt plug so i thought it was the screen. long story short i found out it was not the screen and it is a capacitor that has been blown off at c9000. that is at the right of the power plug on the mainboard. i have a boardview but it doesnt say what the cap is just that it goes to the backlight. anybody have an idea of what the cap is and how i can repair this.i can upload a pic when i get home if that is needed.
