Hi guys, so I have a Macbook pro A1502 have owned it for about 4 years now with no issues.

Then it started with random shutdowns, one day I couldn't turn it on at all so just left it, then I got it to turn on and it kept shutting down, so I did a fresh install of Mac OS Big sur which took about 10 attempts!! Stupidly that means I lost everything I have.

I checked the terminal and got this.

2021-05-07 13:59:13.856311-0300 0xb1 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AppleSMC) Previous shutdown cause: -128

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Log - Default: 1, Info: 0, Debug: 0, Error: 0, Fault: 0

Activity - Create: 0, Transition: 0, Actions: 0

Please can someone help me, I googled the -128 shutdown cause and it doesn't show much.

Weirdly the shutdowns are random, some days I can use it for 20-30 minutes before it does it, other days it's 5 minutes, other days it doesn't even boot up all the way. I have noticed when it shuts down and I try reboot it, the apple logo shows and then a progress bar comes up and fills before I get to the password screen.
