The picture has been taken with my phone. It shows the bottom left of my display with a picture of a screenshot on the display.
There's an ugly (perhaps digital) fade from black on the bottom of the screen as compared to the clean cut on the edges and top of the display. Even worse, about one pixel wide below the fade, the display takes on the colour of a previous application window and when you quickly move to another window with contrasting colour it takes a moment to change.
You can see the icons on the dock are not sharp at their bottom - but on the screen shot they are.
