I setup my 2015 rMBP with an 4K 24" external monitor I snagged for £270 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00WUACDIU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 very happy, however two questions please-
• I've found the rMBP needs the magsafe plugged in all the time - or it wont work. Fair enough but is there a way of charging the rMBP with say a lightning to magsafe adapter that I can keep in another room? or do I have to purchase another magsafe adapter?
• I have apple OEM apple iMac keyboard and Logitec bluetooth mouse all good, but expecting to move the mouse or touch keyboard the display doesn't automatically come on. Apple watch picks up on rMBP to unlock but I have to fiddle around pressing a button at the back of the monitor (which is powered on) - is there a way to default the display with the rMBP so it connects with just mouse or keyboard input.
