Macbook Pro and 24" Cinema Display...

Hey all,
Apologies if this question is floating around other threads.

My current set up consists of a unibody Macbook Pro and a 20" iMac. I use my computers for video editing and watching films/tv shows.

I'm considering selling my iMac and replacing it with a 24" Cinema Display. I wanted to know if anyone else has done this, and what their experience of the resulting set up s (that is, Macbook Pro and cinema display).

I'm using the 24" Apple Cinema Display with my MacBook Pro. The display is gorgeous, you will not be disappointed. I tried buying it refurbished for $599, but it came with small defects I couldn't ignore. I opted to buy it new with my education discount and it is perfect. You will not regret the purchase.

I have to echo the above, I use the same setup i.e. a 17" mbp that I dock to the 24" LED day-to-day. Absolutely love the setup. For bonus points get an m-Stand to complete the pairing
