MacBook Pro and 30 inch monitor which one?

Hiya guys,

I was just about to pull the card out for a new macbook pro and their 30" screen until I started to question whether this screen is my best bet...

I would love to hear peoples opinions (pref based on their personal experience of owning one =D) of what is best for me. Also I have noticed dell do a 30" but it is a displayport but apple dont sell a mini dp to dp? so is this not doable..

all your advice is greatly greatly appreciated..

Even though the 30" ACD has not been updated in... well, forever... it is still a great monitor
