I ordered a MacBook Pro and a Cinema Display yesterday, and on the order form there were several connectors listed.

I couldn't understand them, and none referred directly to the Cinema Display. I figured that surely it would come with a connector...

Anyway, I tried to call Apple and waited 20 minutes without getting through, and then tried email. Got a fast response saying it would take SEVEN days to respond.

Does anyone know whether the Cinema Display comes with a connector, or is that another purchase? If so, WHAT do I buy?

Many thanks. :)

If you are getting the 24" LED Cinema display, no, you don't need a connector as your MBP will have mini DP native.

If you have the 30" cinema display then you will need one of these $99 dual link DVI adapters. It won't come in the box.

Heh.

Sorry.

Excellent -- thank you. :)

Yes, I'm getting the 24 inch, so I'll be good to go.

That stops me worrying, you've set my mind at rest.
