macbook pro and optimum wifi

My mac never could connect to optimum wifi it always tells the me the connection has timed out. The wifi is usually 3-4 bars, and it still does not connect.

Any ideas? Is this happening to anyone else?


I have the late 2011 15 inch pro base model

Did you previously authorize the device via Optimum website (see screen shot)? You can't just connect to it if you're not a customer, and there's 5 device limit to it.
