Question I want to hook up my macbook pro to a larger Benq monitor and also use a bluetooth trackpad and a apple wired keyboard, Instead of using the macbook pro track and keyboard. So that I can put the macbook pro in the corner of the desk and not in front of me.

Can this work ? or will the track pads interfere with each other. I don't want to purchase one if it will not work.

Clamshell mode means having the MacBook screen lid closed while you use an external monitor and keyboard. You don't actually need the screen lid closed at all. The Bluetooth trackpad and external keyboard and screen will work fine whether the lid is open or closed.

I use my MacBook Pro every day with an external monitor, Bluetooth trackpad and USB keyboard. Everything works great with no conflicts. I sometimes use the MacBook's screen has an extra monitor while I do my work.

Even when it's not in clamshell mode it will work fine. I sometimes use an MTP to make using it a little more comfortable, even with the MBP on my lap.
