I found this Amazon link on another website. The product says its for a powerbook but after some research I found that you can use it for the macbook pro. Its model M8853LL/A.

I'd recommend going directly to their website. It's free shipping there. They also sell on ebay, but their website is the cheapest. They're legit. I picked one up on ebay last week and got it in 2 days via UPS. The applecare box was damaged, but the applecare was in tact and now my computer is covered until July 2010. They're legit.

their website is techforless.com

There aren't any issues using this powerbook applecare on a macbook pro? Has anyone done this?

In practice I wouldn't know, but technically there might be issues with this since the registration number in coded for Powerbooks, so your Macbook Pro S/N wouldn't match up with the list of compatible products. Sure you could argue your case with Apple, but then you'd have to explain where you got this and why you bought it knowing it was suppose to work only with a Powerbook.
