Hi,

Not sure if anyone can answer this. I am in the UK, but I will be travelling for work (education) to the USA for about 8 months. When I arrive intend to buy a Macbook Pro from the USA. What I can't get an answer to (on Apple's site) os whether if I buy AppleCare +, the accidental damage (with all the relevant cost etc) is also covered when I am back home in the UK. I know Apple's warranty is international, but I am not sure about Applecare +

Try getting your eyes checked. It clearly says "global" multiple times. https://www.apple.com/support/products/mac.html

No need to be so harsh for a valid question. While it does say global multiple times there is more in the fine print. In section 4 of the policy for AppleCare + it states " Apple may restrict hardware service and ADH coverage to the country where the Covered Device was originally purchased". ADH means accidental damage from handling. So in essence the + part of AppleCare + can be limited by Apple as they see fit and isn't guaranteed outside the country of purchase.
