Hi Guys,

First post on the forums so please be gentle! I'm going to be buying a new macbook pro for when I go to grad school nxt year. I have decided on the:
15"
2.66 ghz
4GB Ram
320GB HD at 7200
with discrete graphics

Here is the question. Can only purchase it at education store rates online or can i do it at an apple retail store aswell? Also do u think they will have it in stock because of the extra option of the 320gb AT 7200 all do u think it would be quicker to buy it online. I want to get my hands on it now. HAHA!

Cheers for your help

Tom

Btw mods feel free to move if not in the right place.

you can purchase with education discount in store. just show student ID.

However, you wont be able to get the 7200rpm option in-store i believe. They only have "stock" configurations in store. Any build to order configurations must be purchased online. If they are as fast at shipping the BTO configs as they are at shipping stock ones, u should receive it within a week ordering online.

cheers guys thanks for the replies. :) I'll js have to wait and buy it online!
