Macbook Pro Audio In/Out Streaming? (Using Soundflower)

Ok so here's my dilemma, I have an xbox 360 currently hooked up to a projector but the sound on the projector is horrible so instead I have been trying to put the audio cable from the xbox into the input audio on the side of the mac, then use Soundflower to feed it through the output audio into my laptop speakers (which hopefully will sound better than the projector). I find the soundflower program confusing with all the channels and different options.
