Hi,

I have the new 2016 macbook pro 15" (13,3 model) w / 4 x thunderbolt 3 port & I would like to record audio from my DMJ600 mixer with turntables. Do I need a simple adaptor like the “Zinsoko Type-C to 3.5mm Audio Headphone adaptor” or do I need an Interface or sound card? Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

B.

I believe the Zinsoko is just an audio "OUT" device and you're gonna need one that will INPUT audio to your MBP. The device you get will likely have both IN and OUT.

My suggestion is to check Amazon for such devices that claim to be Mac compatible. Try to confirm the compatibility by searching the reviews for someone that actually has it working on a MBP and preferably the new model like yours.
