I just ordered a 2018 13 inch MBP through Apple's online store (Canada). With the back to school offer, the order amounted to around 2800 CAD.

I was immediately charged an authorization hold of 370 CAD. However, it's been about an hour, and 2800 CAD is yet to be debited from my card.

How many days does it take for the payment to get cleared and the authorization hold refunded? Is my case normal?

They should mail me the receipts once the payment is cleared, right?
You’ll get a notification once it’s been shipped. Although your credit card may not be fully charged. They can stop delivery right up to 5 minutes beforehand if your card declines. The full receipt gets sent once delivery is signed for. Chill till then.

A few years ago, I ordered my 13" online for pick up at the Apple Store in Sherway Gardens, Mississauga.

I got email confirmation of the final price one I placed the order.

Credit card was charged the day it was sent to the Apple store.

I received a copy of the invoice via email after pick up.
