As the title says, i have a somewhat disappointing battery in my MBP (2.33c2d 2gb ram 256mb x1600). I bought this computer last December, meaning it is not even one year old yet. I have been having consistent weak battery performance, usually about 1 hour without any intensive applications running. Now, when i used a program to check the health calibration of my battery, it displays it at only 48%, no wonder it has a very short time!. Am i able to get a free battery replacement from Apple? It is less then a year and my battery is half dead...

Is the MBP still under warranty? Maybe you could call Apple Support or bring it to an Apple store.
