So I got a second hand early 2011 MBP. It runs perfect except for the battery. It lasts around 30 minutes without using it. Around 10 to 15 with intensive use. I am a very DIY guy so I bought a replacement battery for my MacBook. Unfortunately the model I bought is the A1281 meanwhile the battery model that is inside the MBP is a A1382 model. Are they compatible? Will I notice any difference if I buy the exact model or install the one I got?

Thanks!

A quick Google search reveals the A1281 battery to be of the external removable kind (no bottom panel removal needed) while the A1382 looks to be of the internal (remove 10 screws to remove the bottom panel) kind. I would say no then...
